BODY: The overall condition is above average to good.
There is a minor dent in the passenger’s side quarter panel. A “Shaker Hood” system is in place.
PAINT: The overall condition of the paint is average, however; there are numerous areas of nicks,
scratches and touchups. The paint on the passenger’s side front render is crazing and bubbling. Two
small areas of paint damage on the driver’s side quarter panel have been touched up with silicone.
CHROME & TRIM: The majority of the chrome and stainless trim is in very good condition;
BUMPERS: The front bumper is in good structural and cosmetic condition. The rear bumper is in good
structural condition and below average cosmetic condition.
GLASS: The overall condition of the very good. The rubber molding on the passenger side window is
cracked.
INTERIOR: The overall condition of the interior average. The backs of both bucket
seats show areas of wear and both seats are missing the shoulder strap retaining clips. There are several areas of worn chrome
plating on the dashboard.
TRUNK: The trunk area is in good condition.
WHEELS: The factory accessory “Snowflake” wheels are in good structural condition and below average
cosmetic condition.
HUBCAPS: The center caps are average
TIRES: The radial tires are in excellent condition.

ENGINE: The casting numbers on the engine indicate that it is a 400 cubic inch, 220 horsepower Pontiac
engine that was produced in combination with a four speed manual transmission.This appears to be the original engine
the subject vehicle is all original. This appraisal is completed based on this assumption.
TRANSMISSION: There is a four speed manual transmission in place that appears to be working
properly. Only 10,916 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am models with this engine and transmission combination
were manufactured in 1978.
