It is a real Y84 SE with the tank build sheet and PHS docs to prove it. Subframe off resto done in the fall of 2014, and it was painted and decaled in the spring of 2015. All new interior with PUI components consistent with the build sheet - black hobnail, carpet, headliner, pkg tray. The dash was removed and cleaned up, a cover was applied and a Randy Combs dash and shifter bezel applied. The console was restored. All gauges work properly. It has new tires, wheels and brakes.
The engine is not original but is a date correct '80 4.9T block. It was rebuilt by a pro shop in Albuquerque I've used for 12 cars. The turbo was rebuilt by GPop Shop, and the original TH350 trans was rebuilt by a shop I've patronized for 5 years. It runs and drives great. The cruise control also works. A/C works, Turbo Lights on the hood work properly, rear window defog works. The underside is clean. All bushings were replaced with poly when the frame was off. The rear end (3.08) was also rebuilt. It is a WS6 car with 4 wheel disks.
