1966 Pontiac StarChief Executive. The last year for the wonderful StarChiefs. Beautiful rare interior and paint matched Reef Turquoise Irid, V8 and automatic transmission, loaded with lots of good options for that year, including power steering and brakes, factory air, gorgeous deluxe steering wheel. Sold new in DesMoines, Iowa, with documentation, service history, original Protecto plate, full history and only 32,063 original miles. This car has been cared for and garaged its' entire life, as you can see in the pictures. Pictures accurately describe this car. I believe I am the 4th owner. The first owner owned it most of the car's life, it was his wife's car. It was their special car, very few flaws to speak of, just a few minor paint touch ups, and the gas gauge does not work. Chrome and stainless are near-perfect, glass is nice and all original. All the interior, dash, door panels, seats, carpets, headliner, etc perfect. I believe it even has the original floor mats.
This car is a gem! The car is so nice it is getting harder to find these cars this nice, let alone, original, with mileage and paper work to back it up. The car is a joy to drive, very tight, with no rattles or wobbles, gets lots of looks just because of how clean it is. A true survivor
I would have full confidence in driving it home, even if you live cross country. New tires. Everything has been gone through by my mechanic and fully serviced. Air works. If you are looking for a nice car, you are looking at one of the better examples left in the country.
