1969 Pontiac Tempest CUSTOM S
HI THERE,
YOU ARE LOOKING AT MY 1969 PONTIAC CUSTOM S. THE CUSTOM S IS THE MODEL ABOVE THE TEMPEST AND BELOW THE LEMANS. RARE ONE YEAR ONLY MODEL. ONLY 7912 2 DOOR COUPES BUILT. I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 1999 FROM AN AD IN HEMMING'S MOTOR NEWS. THE LISTING SAID '69 LEMANS COUPE FOR $ 2,000. CAR WAS IN CT. WHEN I GOT THERE I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THE CAR WAS A CUSTOM S AND HAD ONLY 68,000 ORIGINAL MILES AND WASALL #S MATCHING. I HAVE A CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME. I AM THE SECOND OWNER ON PAPER. THE REAL SECOND OWNER NEVERPUT THE CAR IN HIS NAME. ALSO THE CAR HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT SINCE 2003. CAR HAS LESS THAN 79,500 MILES.
I AM GOING TO GO OVER THE WHOLE CAR PHOTO BY PHOTO SO PLEASE IF INTERESTED READ THE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION.

THE VALANCE HAS SOMEDINGS, PAINT CHIPS AND A HOLE ON THE PASSSIDE FOR A LICENSE PLATE BRACKET. IF YOU NEED THE BRACKET FOR A FRONT PLATE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL INCLUDE IT. THE GRILLESHAVE NO CRACKS AND WOULD LOOKLIKE NEWWITHFRESH PAINT. THEPARKING LAMP LENSES ARE ORIGINAL AND OK, BUT NOT PERFECT. THE HOOD IS RUST FREE, NOT KINKEDAND ONLY HAS A FEW PAINT CHIPS. GRILLE EMBLEM IS ORIGINAL. BUMPER ARROW HEADEMBLEM IS A REPOP. THE CAR ALSO HAD ALL 4 T-3 HEADLAMPS, BUT I INSTALLED NEW HALOGEN HEADLAMPS FOR BETTER NIGHT DRIVING.
