Description:
1981 Pontiac Trans Am
This is a Trans Am that I would classify as a survivor. It is a very solid car with little to no rust; only mild surface rust. The fenders, runk, loorboards are solid. The chassis is super solid and has been steam cleaned and sprayed with professional grade chassis paint. Recently, he tank has been removed and flushed along with the fuel lines and the brakes have been checked and serviced. All of the fluids have been checked. The engine is a pontiac 400 and it runs very strong that is not original; the rest of the drive train is original. The paint is faded in places; as the picture show. The speed odometer is not working (Cable missing), nd the oil pressure gauge is not working. I did remove the oil sending unit and installed a pressure gauge and is shows 60psi at idle.A list of options are:T- Tops (In good shape; Have factory T-Top Cases)Air conditioning (Belt not hooked up but is all there)Tachometer (Works)Tilt steering (Works)Cruise Control (?)Power Windows (Both Work)Clock (Works)
In summary, his car runs and shifts great; and feels very tight when driven. Its a super solid car and would be a perfect car to restore if desired; its all there. The interior is worn, owever it is all there. The dash, gauges, nd console are in great shape. Clean Title
