1971 Plymouth Duster

225 CI slant six, 904 transmission, column shift, 7 1/4 " rear axle and drum brakes. Factory EL5 Butterscotch. Black with silver insert vnyl split bench seats with front fold down armrest . Twister grill, stripes, hood scoops, and hood pins have been added. New carpet. Small bolt pattern (5 " on 4") 15 in Centerlines with new tires. Factory full white vinyl top that is now painted black.

Engine compartment has been repainted. Non original motor has the Super Six head and one barrel carburetor, New master cylinder, coil, spark plugs and wires. Upgraded to Mopar electronic ignition. Factory air conditioning ca, but components have been removed. Heater and defroster work. Wipers, AM radio, all lights and turn signals work.

She does have some bumps and bruises but overall solid car. The paint still looks good with some areas of touch up. showing. Trunk is solid. Drivers side quarter shows a previous repair and has a few bubbles. Front bumper looks good, rear bumper is straight but the chrome is dull. See pictures for details.

This little car drives great. She’s been on multiple 100 plus mile road trips with no issues. She will cruise at 75-80 mph. Last trip to Redding and back we averaged over 20 mpg. She is my grocery getter and errand runner.

She’s happy with her little 225 but would be a great candidate for something a bit more spunky! :)
