Description:

1974 Plymouth Duster

I purchased this 1974 Duster in 2012 and completed the Restomod in 2017. I have put on 962 miles since the completion. The car was completely gone through and completelydisassembled, all rusted items were replaced with new metal from AMD. The car was taken to the body shop and received the body and paint work needed. The underside was factory undercoated and it did receive a fresh coat of undercoating to match the original as the drivers side floor pan and both quarter panels were replaced. You will also note that the rear tail light panel has been replaced with a 1971 Duster version, this was my personal preference as I preferred the 71 style better than the 74. My intention was to never make this a matching car, I built it the way I wanted to.

So much time, money and effort has been put into this car and I will try my best to put it all in this ad.

Painted Sassy Grass Green; black matte stripes, snorkel hood scoop, rear spoiler, sub-frame connectors and all fuel and brake lines are stainless steel have been added.

No expense and no short cuts were taken as you can see.

This is a partial listing of what I have done and as you can see in the pictures this is one of the finest Dusters out there.

I have over $75,000 invested in parts, paint and material and I have about 90-95% of the receipts. The reserve price is well below of what I have invested.

There is a picture of the book that has the receipts and instructions that you get with the car, I tried to keep everything as I was building the car.

Now for the bad: there are a few small rock chips on the lower rocker panel/behind the wheels and there is a very small oil seep from the transmission cover plate where one of the shifter rods connects to.

The reason for selling it - I recently moved and we now have to drive 3 miles on a gravel road (hence the rock chips) I hate to see it get chipped more and don't wish to trailer it every time I want to enjoy a ride and I just don't drive it much anymore, only 12 miles this year. Time for a new home for someone to enjoy it.

The car runs great and has tons of power, drives straight and is a lot of fun to drive.
