1978 Plymouth Fury

FOR SALE!

This is a TRUE not cloned E86 Plymouth Fury State Trooper car.E86 = POLICE PACKAGE.

1978 was the last year Chrysler offered the famous 440 Big Block. This is an original 440 car with its original engine.

The car runs and sounds awesome.Drives very nice.Finding one of these cars is a needle in the hay stack. Most were destroyed. This car originally was a North Carolina highway patrol car, still has its “Property of” decal in the glove box.It was later bought by an Ex Tennessee State Trooper and lots of money was spent to transform it to their paint scheme etc.

The car has its working very rare TwinSonic lightbar, working siren with two very loud speakers, working radar front and rear etc.It even has its original prisoner cage.

Its the star of every parade or car show it makes an appearance at.Its a lot of fun.Located in Poznan, Poland.

Its only one car like this one, in that paint scheme, very rare, you can find a lot of pictures with that car from the past in google, type in: "1978 Plymouth Fury Tennessee State Trooper". You can google a lot of pictures and informations on different pages about exact same car.

This car is growing very fast on value. Short period after I was so lucky to bring it to Europe and I posted some pictures and videos online, I has been contacted by US State Museum, they wanted to buy the car and bring it back to US as it is a big part of State Trooper history. They even have the same lightbar (Twinsonic) in their museum.

This car waspopular choice with local police groups and highway patrol. For the latter, they usually came with one or both of these packages:

  • A38 Handling Package (aka Police Pursuit Package), which gave the car beefed up torsion bars, anti-sway bars, a reinforced frame, Dana 60 rear end, and front disc brakes
  • E86 Package that came with the potent Chrysler 440 V-8, engine oil cooler, power steering oil cooler, and transmission oil cooler
The car has the E86 package and the A38. These cars usually didn’t make it into the hands of the public after retirement, often being destroyed. These cars could top 133 mph.

Here is your chance to be the next lucky owner of that rare beauty.
