What you are looking at is a historically correct recreation of THE Most Iconic Super Stock Car of ALL TIME. The Sox and Martin 68’ “HEMI” Barracuda. (This car just finished a two-year no expense spared rotisserie historically correct restoration).

This car is absolutely correct down to the decals! Inside and out, this car is outstanding. The paint colors are 100% correct. REAL gold and silver leaf lettering. Car has the correct factory fiberglass nose, fenders, and hood. Bumpers are lightweight acid dipped. Lightweight windows. Interior, seats, vintage gauges, everything is 100% correct.

Under the hood is THE ELEPHANT MOTOR, a 426 Hemi. Callies block, standard bore with a stroker billet crank bringing the cubic inches up to 480. Forged connecting rods, forged pistons with 12.5 to 1 compression. Solid roller cam. Stage 5 aluminum heads, and a factory cross ram with the correct 770 Holley carbs.

Transmission is a correct A833 18 spline Hemi 4-speed with cryo-treated gears, and a billet input shaft retainer. It also has a McCleod dual disc clutch. It has a period correct Hurst shifter with reverse lockout. The rear is a Dana 60 with 4.56 Gears and Strange Engineering Axles. The car also has the correct Super Stock leaf springs. Car also has a line lock, a 6-point roll cage, and driver harness.

This car was built to race! Not just show.

This car is incredible inside, outside, and underneath. The bottom of the car is just as clean and detailed as the top. It needs nothing.

Once dialed in this car is capable of low 10 second quarter mile times.

Car has a clean title and can be registered to drive on the street. The car is NHRA legal Super Stock class.
