1964 Plymouth Valiant 200
This 1964 Plymouth Valiant has the rare push button automatic transmission. 1964 was the last year for Chrysler's push buttons. Key features:- Original style Ball & Ball one barrel carburetor.
- Original 9" drum brakes upgraded with bell shaped drums in the rear for driving in the rain. Ten inch front drums and a dual master brake cylinder would be good upgrades. Disc brake conversions are also available.
- 185/70R13 tires are about 23.2” tall. Tires closer to the original 23.8" diameter are 165R13, 175/80R13, 175/70R14, 175/75R14, 185/70R14 and 195/65R14. These are 23.6" to 24.3" tall. Tires wider than 205 or over 25” tall may rub the fender wall. Spare tire well takes a 175 tire.
