Description:
1972 Plymouth Road Runner
Not a numbers matching vehicle. 340 (1971) has been rebuilt and is mated to the original 727 automatic transmission. Original radiator, fan, and shroud replaced with a Cold Case aluminum radiator and electric fan. Original parts to include pictured valve covers convey with vehicle. All gauges, lights, buzzer, cig lighter, wiper, trunk release, heater, etc are operable. Not a A/C car. Two sets of keys with all locks operable. Original AM radio and front speakers are operable, rear speakers are not.Interior is in great shape: a crack in the dash pad as pictured. Seats, belts, headliner are very nice. Believe the door panels to be GTX version. If I were keeping it I would likely upgrade and replace the carpet.Exterior is the FE5 rallye red and looks very nice. A few minor scratches and dings. There is no rust showing through the paint. If you crawl up under the car you find underbody surface rust, but there is nothing I have found to indicate anything being rusted through. Do not believe there is any bondo. This car has been resprayed at some point in its history but I don’t know when. Chrome and mouldings are in great shape.15x7 magnums with P235/60 front and P245/60 rear are all in great shape.Nice driving cruiser with a great sounding exhaust draws lots of attention and favorable comments.Selling this vehicle with no implied warranty and as-is. Vehicle will be available for personal or paid Inspection and must be completed prior to close of listing. Clean Colorado title will be released upon receipt of funds.
