1969 Plymouth Satellite

Vehicle Details

I use this car mainly on the weekends.

1969 Plymouth Satellite a December build repainted Hemi Orange in the 90’s. paint shows well with minor imperfections. It could use some paint correction and polish. There are two small dings on the very front of passenger fender And fist size rust spot bubbling the paint on the drivers side lower part of the fender in front of the rear tire under the moulding line. The trunk had some fiberglass work at some point. It was most likely addressed when it was restored back in the 90’s.

The engine compartment had a repaint last summer and the Roadrunner hood was added with stripes and painted to match.

The vinyl top is in good condition with a couple of pencil tip size imperfections near the pillar. Otherwise smooth and solid.

The brakes are disc in front drum in rear with vacuum accumulator under the battery tray with the braided hoses run to the manifold and booster. Breaks do work good but vacuum is lacking due to the 509 cam.

Interior is in decent shape with nice dash pads aftermarket wood grain inserts and aftermarket oil/Temp/alternator gauges in the dash. The original speedometer cluster is intact. Fuel gauge works but is off by about -3 gallons. Seats are a high back bucket from a 71 plymouth recovered with black vinyl and grey inserts which match the door panels and back seat. Some cracking in the vinyl at the top of the back seat from the sun and heat. B&M shifter on the floor. The black carpet is a little faded but not bad. The headliner is nice and tight and looks real good.

The engine is a 76 block redone with about 500 miles on it. Built with a nice set of 1967 915 closed chamber heads, speedPro pistons six pack spec and give a nice quench of .050 with the felpro gaskets. Single plane intake with Thumper built QFT double pumper carb. Carter mechanical fuel pump and 3/8 line. The cam is Comp Nostalgia 509 cam on a 108 lobe separation. Cooling through the 440source Aluminum water pump and housing. Windage tray 6 qt pan. viscos fan with shroud and aluminum radiator. TTI/CPPA HEADERS coupled to 3” stainless exhaust and Flowmasters mufflers.

The transmission works well shifts hard with the Cheetah valve body and 10” 3800 stall converter with new u joints. Rear ended is an 8.75 eith 3:23 limited slip diff.

The wheels included are the Weld Draglite with 29550/15 rear cobras and 215/60/15 front cobras. Tires have excellent tread.

All the glass is in nice shape the trim is complete. Trim is correct and attached very nicely to the channels that follows the body lines nicely.

I drive the car to local events and trailered it to the Mopar Muscle car shootout in Sacramento the car ran 12.7 seconds in the 1/4 mile at 112 MPH.

I have the carpet out from under the sill plates for inspection of floors. They are solid as far as I can tell. The body is real straight and shows well. All lights and electrical works as it should. The 440 has Mopar electronic distributor fed by an MSD coil and a Holley sure fire box eith built in rev control which is mounted on the interior passenger fire wall.

This is a very fun car to drive and gets a lot of thumbs up and attention everytime I have it out and about.

I may have left some details out so feel free to ask whatever questions you may have.

I would recommend potential buyers to go over this vehicle in person.

I reserve the right to end the listing as it is for sale locally.
