Incredibly Rare, Pristine 1966 Plymouth Satellite 426 Hemi Coupe
New to our Benicia showroom is this ultra rare and sensational 1966 Plymouth Satellite 2 Door Coupe with silver exterior paint and a fantastic red vinyl interior. You’ll find a factory true 426 Hemi cid V-8 engine under the hood with matching 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission, a dual exhaust, dual 4 bbl carburetors, a transmission cooler, power front disc brakes, an electronic ignition and far too many other features to list. This stellar classic muscle car has a mere 71,727 lifetime miles on the odometer and it has been fully restored back to incredible levels as well.
One of Only 817 Examples Produced (1 of 314 in Automatic)
The current owner of this 1966 Plymouth Satellite purchased it three years ago at auction and he informs us that it was completely restored from bumper to bumper in February of 2017. This example is also listed in the Chrysler Registry as a true Hemi 426 V-8 with dual four barrels and a 727-automatic transmission with a super-rare front disc brakes option, which was also verified by famed MOPAR expert Galen Govier with a production date of April 21st, 1966. We also have the original broadcast sheet from the factory plus the original owner’s manual and Certicard on file.
Additionally, this 1966 Plymouth Satellite 2 Door Coupe received a few mild upgrades during the restoration process including an electronic ignition for better reliability, a transmission cooler, power brakes and a dual exhaust. It shows excellent in person as well with only slight levels of imperfections to the exterior paint since the complete restoration effort. Otherwise, this incredible rare example is like-new in appearance both inside and out with original instrumentation and countless other original features.
