1970 Plymouth Satellite

I bought this car awhile back right here off eBay after selling my original Hemi GTX, I wanted to build a better car that I could actually enjoy and drive with out worrying about hurting the originality of a rare factory Hemi car. I bought it from the original owners son and the car had never left their hands. the odometer says 58000 but it may have gone around once. It is a very original car with Factory 318 and optioned with 727 Torque Flight Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Factory AC, Bucket Seats, Buddy Seat, Hood Mounted Turn Signals. In the 1990s they had the car repainted the original yellow at which time they removed vinyl top and replaced the trunk pan. This car is very solid for a Mopar still retaining all its original body panels. Original owner stated this car was always garaged. The Floors don't get any Nicer. There is some bubbling of rust around quarter panel lips, a small patch can be seen from inside trunk on lower RH rear quarter done at the same time. The lower rear window moldings are off and in the trunk, they had put clear silicone at bottom of window because there was some minor rust. The rest of the body as far as I can see is rust free including the nicest Trunk Lid I've ever seen. The glass is all factory tinted and perfect ! windows roll up and down with ease and doors, hood, trunk open and close perfectly. When they repainted the car they also installed new Carpets and Sill Plates but the rest of the interior is 100 % original and nice. Including Steering Wheel and Dash Pad with no cracks. The front seat covers are torn but if you look under the factory bucket seats you wont believe the condition of springs and tracks, they look like new. All of the special wood grain plaques like the GTX uses are present and nice. all of the interior lights come on like Dome. under dash and even glove box light. under the dash the wiring and AC box look like new. All seat belts are present and nice. The original owner added the Magnum Road Wheels that were from a neighbors Roadrunner back in the 70s but original Hubcaps were stored away and come with the car. The car starts right up and seems to run and drive smooth but it has been off the road a few years and I am sure will need some work to be road worthy again. I have only driven it a few times around the block. Everything is complete under the hood and i have not checked AC but belts are still on it. It steers and stops well and transmission seems to work well also. All fluids are clean and car was well maintained. All the lights but one of hood signals work, three speed wipers work as well as the horn. Alternator, Temperature, Speedometer Gauges appear to be working and we only put a few gallons of gas in it but it seemed like needle moved some. The radio plays. Again it will need some work before being roadworthy again but its a nice starting point. My plans were to completely disassemble and build with Hemi and all modern suspension ect. so i didn't care or pay much attention to power train or suspension. I have even thought about doing a Super-Bird Clone because who can afford a real one ! This is why I put Super-Bird, Roadrunner, GTX Clone in the Title because there is a lot of possibilities but its a 1 year only body style. Its getting impossible to find unmolested cars like these anymore. The Factory Document Paper Work is Unbelievable ! Includes : Original Window Sticker, Original Bill Of Sale, Original Owners Manual in plastic Envelope, Warranty Booklet, Skid Report Card, Mopar Oil Change Brochure, Dealer Tag Claims, 1ST inspection 06/70 VA Police. Envelope filed with Registrations and Inspections, Original Keys (2-Sets) with Original Dealership Key Chain, Pieces of Build Sheet found under Carpet & Perfect Build Sheet still under rear seat as well as Fender Tag and VIN Door Decal. Plus a bag of old receipts as well as the Clear Open TN. Title still in Previous Owners Name. My current situation has changed so its up for grabs. i paid 15K for it but I am listing it at "No Reserve" just the way I bought it and hoping that some see's the value in it like I did. I'm not interested in any Trades and I have friends that have already made me offers so I figured I'll just let it run its course. Good Luck and Thanks for Looking. Shipping will be the responsibility of new owner and a 500.00 non refundable immediate deposit is required and payment in full in 7 Days. I will not release the car until payment is cleared.
