1971 Plymouth Duster

PLYMOUTH DUSTER TWISTER PACKAGE- Original 318, 3 speed on the floor, 8 3/4 rear, manual steering and brakes. It now has a Rebuilt 340, 4-speed, and Dana 60 rear end. This car runs very strong and rides and steers very nice with all new steering and suspension. All mechanical parts replaced and upgraded. $26,000 invested. Ready for you to do the cosmetics.

BODY
Solid body from West Virginia. This is the Twister Package, with hood scoops and black hood paint treatment from the factory!
Mostly original paint, with patch panels on both lower rear quarter panels.
No rust in frame rails, floors, or trunk floor. Note - the small dark spot on passenger rear quarter in the photo is not a rust hole; it is something on the paint.
New AMD bumpers and brackets.
New gas tank and sending unit.

INTERIOR
Needs seat covers, original front seat has been recovered in the wrong material. Back seat correct houndstooth, but dried out.
Seat Headrests and original steering wheel are nice.
Dash Pad has couple small cracks, but not terrible.
Rear door panels are missing and front door panels are peeling. New package tray and headliner are included.

ENGINE
1970 dated 340 engine completely rebuilt with 0.30 over SRP forged pistons,10.25 compression.
New SCAT rods.
Standard crank, polished.
New Edelbrock aluminum heads, with springs to match cam.
New Hughes solid lifter cam, and roller rockers.
New TTI headers & 2.5" exhaust.
New Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake.
New Edelbrock AVS2 650 carburetor.
New radiator.
New engine wiring harness.

TRANSMISSION
Rebuilt 833 4-speed, 1969 dated.
Rebuilt original Hurst 4-speed shifter & correct Hurst A-Body handle.
New McLoed HD clutch & flywheel.

DIFFERENTIAL
New Strange S60 A-body Dana 3.54 gear.
New custom build heavy duty balanced driveshaft for the Dana.

SUSPENSION
New HD leaf springs & shackles.
New Gabriel gas shocks, front and rear.
New HD torsion bars.
New upper and lower control arm bushings.

STEERING
All New ball joints.
All New tie rod ends.
New Pitman arm and idler arm.

WHEELS & TIRES
New US Mags Indy wheels 15 X 8 rear, 15 X 5 front.
New Mickey Thompson front runner radial tires.
New Cooper radials, rear.
All New Brakes including large bolt disc conversion on front.
