1970 Plymouth hemicuda 525
1970 Plymouth Barracuda
Here's my beautiful 1970 cuda with a 525 hemi in it. This is a real cuda that was originally a 383 4-spd. FE5 rally red car. I built my dream car but we're moving to Florida and I don't want to take it because of the salty air. It's been totally restored. It has always been a southern car. Please read all.Engine:Has about 3,000 miles on it.Cruises great. I didn't overbuild this motor.Built with all the good stuff.Motor built by Reed Grant RacingDynoed at 618 H.P. and 610 ft.lbs.tq.525 hemiStage 5 headsStage 5 intakeroller rockersJ&E pistonsEagle crank and rodsMilodon 7qt. oval track oil panFitech 1200 power adder fuel injectionFire core distributor and plug wiresTTI 3" headersTransmission:Tremec 5-spdCenterForce clutch

It looks so much better than the reproduction tail panel trim.I added the shaker hood. It is a Gene Gregory shaker bubble that looks like the originals.

Interior:Pistol Grip 5-spdNew Legendary seat covers and foam, carpet, New dash pad. New headliner and sound deading material.Installed rally gauge cluster with upgraded lighted wiring harness, dash lights come on when you open the door. Upgraded clock works to electronic and the tach is a new reproduction.
Things that i never got too. Just being honest. The wiper motor doesn't work. I never drive it in the rain anyway. I do have the original wiper arms. The horns work but they blow constantly. So i unhooked them. Simple fix but never got back to it.
When i built the engine it had two 600 edelbrocks on it. I liked the idea of fuel injection so I put the Fitech fuel injection system on it. I'm being honest again it needs someone who can dial it in. It cruises great but Not when you'r getting on it. I cant find anyone around me that will put it on a chasis dyno. If it doesn't sell I'm going to take it with me and put carbs back on it. This is a beautiful neck braking car that's built right with all the good stuff and a rock solid body. Please no low ball offers. It's built right and just needs some tweaking. I have lots of receipts. Please feel free to contact me for more pictures and info if you'r a serious player. I require a $1,500 non refundable deposit from the winning bidder within 24 hours. Thanks and God Bless.

It has 3" exhaust going through Hooker Aero chamber mufflers. The pinion angle needs to be set better. It does not vibrate any while cruising but it does some when you get on it. Just wanting to be honest again. Body #'s on the cowl and radiator support do match the VIN. Thanks

I guess I need to do the formality of being sold as is. It does have power steering. It's a firm feel power steering box. Thanks

I do have the hood pin cables. I haven't installed them because your friends with the best intentions want to pull the pins out to open the hood for you when you pull up to a cruise in or some where. It can scratch the paint if your not careful. It's happened on other cars I've had but not this one.
I can send a video clip of the car running. Thanks

Questions I've been asked. All the stainless was polished and no dings or dents in any of it. The stainless is beautiful. The bottom is black and clean. All gauges and lights work. Trunk light, map light and glove box light work etc. I took some more pictures so let me know if you want more. Thanks
