Description:

1968 Plymouth Road Runner --

This 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner is a mild custom with the best features from 1968-1970. These include FJ5 "Limelight Green" paint, two-tone interior, A12 liftoff hood and the legendary 440 6-barrel engine. The dyno proven and stroked 440, mated with the 4 speed, make this car a torque monster and blast to drive. Drivability upgrades include power steering, upgraded brakes and tuned suspension. This car was built to be reliable, driven, and enjoyed. Over $70K was invested into this show winner over the course of the last 4 years.

EXTERIOR:
In 2017, the show quality paint, in FJ5 Limelight Green, was applied by Valhalla Restorations. The grille was restored and painted matte black to match the A12 reproduction fiberglass lift-off hood. This hood also comes with "show poles" to elevate it for engine display. The car is a factory Décor package car and the Décor tail panel was replaced with a new Classic Industries reproduction.

The chrome and stainless trim are original. The fit/finish and bodylines on the 68 are excellent, as seen in the pictures. Most of the glass is original. The newer Magnum 500 wheels are wrapped in like-new Cooper Cobra tires.

INTERIOR:
Interior is in good condition and was restored by the previous owner with 1970 silver/black seat covers and door panels. It currently has a warm and slightly vintage look to it that shows very well. This includes the headliner and rear deck. The odometer shows approx. (1)18350 miles. All of the gauges, dash lights, dash functions, heat, etc. work properly.

ENGINE/ENGINE BAY:
Blueprint Engines 493 Stroker with Edelbrock / Holly 6-barrel setup was installed in 2016. Dyno'd at 532 hp and 605 ft-lb of torque. Roughly 2,000 miles on new motor since installed.

DISCLOSURES:
In order to present the car as honest as possible, the following miscellaneous and minor issues are highlighted as follows:
- Wiper arms need to be reconnected due to 3 speed wiper motor installation (3 speed switch comes with the car). The car is never driven in the rain.
- Heater core is bypassed and new vent/heat controls are needed
- Front side marker lights need to be rewired
- Minor scratches are in the driver and passenger rollup windows, as the door felts were missing at one time
- A slight shade difference can be see within the engine bay, as this was not repainted in 2017
- Drivers side sun visor needs to be re-stitched or replaced.
