Description:

1971 Plymouth Road Runner

Up for your consideration...
-This is a real TX9 black, RM23N1... roadrunner. The original 383”engine has been replaced with a 440”, 6-pack. This is an original 4-speed car. It still retains it's original fender tag.
BODY:
The body is in pretty good condition. It has had 1 repaint in 1983 in it's original TX9 black color. It has an original Mopar "Air-Grabber" hood installed that functions great. All the glass is in good condition. The Original black vinyl top is in excellent condition. Frame rails are in great condition. Floors and trunk pan appear to be in decent condition, but have been repaired at some time. -The original fender tag is still in place. I also have the original Rallye hood for the car. You may have theRallye hood (see pics) instead of the "Air-Grabber" hood if you want, but only 1 hood will go with the car.
DRIVE TRAIN:
The original 383" engine is long gone, and has been replaced with a more powerful 440”, (with a 6-pack) engine. This car has LOTS of power. It runs, drives, steers and stops as it should. -Typical, no frills, manual steering and manual brakes roadrunner. New Gas tank and fuel lines. All of the carbs have been rebuilt. New shocks. Recently purchased new tires. The pics show the car wearing 2 different sets of wheels. -You will get your choice of eitherset of wheels (both sets have new/like new tires), but only 1 set will go with the car.
INTERIOR:
The white interior is in excellent condition. New "legendary" seat skins on the front bucket seats.
The windows roll up and down easily, and the keys lock and unlock both doors and the trunk smoothly.
The Original dash pad has NO cracks. The radio does not work. An aftermarket Tach and oil pressure gauge was added to monitor the engines performance.
OVERALL:
This classic Mopar Muscle car is very desirable, and fun to drive! It runs, drives and handles well. It steersand stops well. -It get tons of attention every time I drive it. ...Classic cars can be a great investment, and very fun to own. They can appreciate in value every year. This car is not perfect by any means, but it is a respectable "driver" quality car. As we all know, pictures do hide a lot of flaws, so I encourage you to come inspect this car in personbefore bidding.
