1970 Plymouth Duster

offering for sale on this auction a 1970 plymouth duster 340 4 speed plum crazy purple with bucket seats and factory wing. This is a car that hopefully someone will want to restore.All the body numbers are there and correct,the 4 speed is the numbers matching unit as well as the rear end with 3.91 gears. the 340 motor I am including with this car is out of a 70 duster and is perfectly date coded to the car. Car built 12/69 motor 9/69. perfect. Motor is complete short of exhaust manifolds and carb. Intake, pulleys,distributor,alternator all brackets all. there.First the bodyOne fender can be worked and kept other will probably need a fender,needs lower quarter panels but not complete full quarterssurprisingly, the trunk floor apears very solid.It has bolted on ricky racer style roll bars which will easily come off.The frame rails on this car appear solidI am certainly not a bodyman but have built ALOT worse cars than this.Look at the pictures carefully and ask questions .
The interior.Original front bucket, look and feel good just need new seatcovers. They even have the stupid metal emblems that are always gone.and the back seat is not cut abused and does not need recovered.thats amazing on its own.all seatbelts are there. as well as interior trim kickpanels, headliner trimalso look at the bumpers tghe rear one is perfect and can be used. front one has a very smAll blemish but can also be used
Engine baythe original manual steering box is there as well as the matching numbers 22 inch mopar radiator. al suspension including sway bar is there Manual drums all the way around and all there.The factory wing is original to the car with all the correct hardware.oddly enough the headliner is there and is in great shape.
sharkstooth grill will need replaced. has a few half dollar size chunksmissing.driveshaft there as well.
so in conclusion you have a 340 duster very complete four speed in plum crazy that is a combination of matching numbers and date coded correct at a very good price.look at the fender tag and see youve got ralley dash, 4 speed, am radio, dual exhausts.
