Description:

1973 Plymouth Fury

Fresh out of the 70's I have this badass mass of awesome known as a 1973 Plymouth Custom Suburban station wagon. This nine passenger beast is the talk of the town wherever it goes. There's nothing more fun than packing your family and all your friends inside for a night of cruising and car shows.
Drivetrain- This 1973 Plymouth Custom Suburban is powered by a Mopar 440 Big Block, 727 Transmission with an underhood trans cooler and an 8 3/4 rear end. The car is a factory T code 440 big block with A/C. The car is still 440 powered and appears to have a date code 76 block. It runs great and hauls like a freight train. It has a very well behaved Edelbrock 1406 4 Barrel carburetor with an electric choke, relatively new alternator, fuel pump, and filter. Since these cars are known for fuel tank issues I had the fuel tank sent out and completely rebuild and rust proofed inside and out and resealed. If your a Mopar enthusiast that knows wagons you'll surely appreciate and understand how much of a selling feature that is. I also just did a fresh tune up so it has all new plugs, wires, cap & rotor. The car also has brand new brake pads, rotors, as well as new wheel bearings. Did I mention it also has four brand new Hankook white line tires. The new tires might have 150 miles on them. Needless to say this car runs and sounds amazing. The engine runs very smooth with a nice deep rumble to it. I drove it to and from my shop all week and put about 100 miles on it without it skipping a beat. regardless if your on the highway or around town it always is very well planted and everything feels firm and solid down to the brake pedal. I've been very meticulous making sure the car is safe and reliable to always start rite up with the tap of a key and a few kicks of the pedal.
Body and Cosmetics- Let me begin by stating this car had lived down south in the clean rust free state of Virginia up until I purchased it over a year or two ago. The floors and entire underside of the car are like new. Its very clean and solid as you can see in the photos. The only rust I had found on the car was the battery tray and the spare tire well which were both professionally fixed and now rust proofed at a restoration shop. The lower half of the car was painted gold long before I took ownership and shines pretty nice and looks like a decent amount of care went into it. the top half of the car is still original paint and considering its age I think it looks great. Personally I always love the look of the original Mopar enamel.
Interior-The wagon is a 9 passenger with a third row reverse facing seat so you can throw stuff out the back window and stare at cars behind you. The rear and middle seat are in good shape with no holes or tares. Both rear seats also fold down flat for extra storage. The front seat has a couple small rips as you can see in the pics but still not bad considering the age of the car. The car could use a headliner. I have a competent headliner guy that can replace it if you desired to have this done let me know and I can get it arranged. Dash pad also has a couple cracks. Not something that really bothered me but good news is that they are being reproduced and I will be passing that info along to the new buyer. Options- The car is equipped with a factory AM/FM radio, cruise control, trailer brake controller and factory A/C. The A/C compressor kicks on and off, I haven't tried to charge it but its all complete and intact. The car also has hood mounted turn signals, a dual action tail gate, and power down rear window.
The car is available to see in person and can be inspected upon request. I will be here to answer any questions just shoot me a message on here and I can send additional photos upon request.
Bid with confidence, the final sale price at the close of the auction is non negotiable. This is an AS-IS Where-IS sale. The buyer will be responsible for pick up. The car needs to be picked up within 30 days of the auction closing. The car must be paid for in full before its picked up. I have a clean title and paperwork in hand as well as a build sheet along with some registrations going back to the 70's and some receipts for previous work and maintenance.
Payment- You will have 2 days to leave a deposit on the car. Full payment can be made in cash, check or Paypal. Understand that if paid by check you will need to wait for the check to clear before picking the car up or having it shipped.
