Automatic, Old custom paint is weathered Nice Interior. I traded for this car and don't know a lotabout it, but here is what know;It now has a 318, I got it from a guy in his early 20's that has a kid and going through a divorce already and the duster was his dreamcar but it did not work out. When I got it, the carb and the distributor was bad. I replace carb and distributor. The gas tank was replaced a couple of years ago but the cap was left off, so I figure it might need taken off and flushed out, maybe not. I poured gas in the carb and it fired up. Sounded Great! Has open headers, no exhaust. I was told by someone thatknew the car that it was street raced some and was pretty peppy, that was a few years back, but it has sat for a few years. It has a complete interior, looks good, not perfect. Drivers door panel missing, all glass good. The only thing I know that was altered was the hood, cut out for a scoop, and rear wheel lips was tucked in and trimmed. I guess for bigger tires. Underneath car has good rails and floors look good, passenger rear floor pan had a little rust and lower rocker had some. It was probably a nice looking and good running streetcar a few years back but been sitting for a while. IT IS A PROJECT FOR SURE. CAN'T DRIVE IT HOME!!!!!Has open headers and no mufflers. May need a little wiring, has an electric fan, I do have the original fan. I think engine and transmission is ok, But I have not driven car. It's just a project that needs work. I wouldn't attempt to drive it until Brakes, fuel line, wires and stuff is checked. If you are not mechanically inclined, and can't do a little work yourself this is probably not the car for you. Please don't expect perfection here. Just an Old Car needing some tinkering, But a great project for the right person. V-8 dusters have increased in value. Someone could do a few things to it and flip it or whatever.
