Description:
1969 Plymouth Barracuda
You are bidding on a 1969 Barracuda. The car was completely restored top to bottom. Paint is PPG Base/Clear, code E5, factory color rally red. Not the original color of car but year correct. Car began its life as a 318 car but now sports a fresh 1970 340. The car was redone using all rust free OEM Sheet metal, except front and rear bumpers (A.M.D. restorers choice). With that being said, you will notice right and left quarter panels and fenders are 1967. I like the clean look of no side marker lights. Floor pans and trunk pans are original and solid. The engine is backed by a 727 trans and a 8 3/4 rear end with 3:55 suregrip. Has been converted to power disc brakes. Complete brake system is new. Booster, master cyl, lines etc. Car sits on new B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A 15" tires and crager SS rims. All stainless and aluminum trim was straightened, redone and polished (no dings or dents). Car has a complete new suspension, front and rear with super stock springs. Interior also all new or restored. Has a working AM thumbwheel radio with under dash FM converter, NOS stock style dash speaker only. The car was rotisserie done so the bottom of car is as nice as the top of the car. The car was redone professionally and I tried to keep it stock looking except for tires and rims. It has hooker supercomp headers, Holley intake and eldebrock carb. With all of that being said, the only thing that doesn't work right is the gas gauge. It works sometimes. I believe it is a ground issue as tank, sending unit are new and I had the gauge itself tested. I was going to fix it but just haven't had the time. Things in life have changed since I started restoring the car and I just don't have time for it anymore, which is reflected by the miles on it (only approx. 200 miles since it was finished 3 years ago). Lots of time and money (far more than starting price) invested. I welcome and encourage viewing the car or having it inspected. The pictures truly do not do it justice. I will help in shipping the car anyway I can but buyer is responsible for all shipping. Please email with any questions. Thank youVehicle Details:
