While no car is perfect or ever really truly done..I have for sale a well built and planned out... 1972 Plymouth Duster 340 up for sale that is very nice and has alot of power the engine is built and good for aprox 650 horse power,the engine has been built by a professonal race engine builder.the engine runs cool as a cucumber holds killer oil pressure and is very responsive,no spark knock..no lag..it is quite wicked and will burn the fat mickey thompson tires with ease.I can pull out from a dead stop stall up the converter punch it to floor and burn the tires all the way through 1st gear with the car getting sideways and shift to 2nd gear and shes gone like a rocket.Ive got on it and ran it some but never have abused it. Its almost unbelievable for a small block..It will really surprize you. the duster is is very dependable and streetable.Its the meanest 340 I have ever owned,and Ive been into mopars all of life.I have have enjoyed driving the car around town,and in parades with out any issues, the engine runs cool and holds 80 plus psi oil pressure. I mix the fuel half and half 93 octane and sunoco 110 racing fuel and have never ran it any other way.the engine is a built 340 with mopar w2 cylinder heads adjustable rockers assembly,the heads have been studded to the block,its built to run and run strong.and has a solid lift camshaft.850 holley double pump carbuerator no choke horn with a&n lines fittings and a fuel pressure gauge.k&n air filter holley dominator intake. holley electric fuel pump and a fuel cell in the trunk. the engine has been bored out balanced steel crank fluid damper deep sump milodon oil pan mopar race ignition with msd wires.autolite racing spark plugs.moroso electric water pump.flexlite electic fans northern 3 row radiator. special w2 head only tti headers brand new custom bent exhaust with magna flow mufflers.the transmission is a 727 from TCI with a 3000 stall conterter and is brand new and built to handle 750 hp.has cable control kick down. the tranny shifts perfect and firm. the drive shaft is custom made with heavy duty u joints. drive shaft loop.the rear end is a big dana with brand new randys ring and pinion 373 possitive tracton gears and bearings and strange engineering axles. the car stops with ease and has 4 wheel wilwood disc brakes. the car is full tubbed and has leaf springs with adjustable ladder bars. all of the front suspension has been completely rebuilt,tie rods ball joints,flaming river manual steering box. bushings,etc, all is new or rebuilt.battery is a brand new heavy duty interstate battery and is located in the trunk. the guages are all autometer and they all work. the interior has all been redone and is nice bucket seats and dash have been recovered the headliner and carpet is new.door panel/arm rest,seat belts..allof it is nice.the dash pad has been recovered.the seats tracks are nice and function.am/fm cd player with 4 speakers,plays and sound good. the windshield is new. all of the glass is good but does have some scuffing. the car is all steel and has all the factory type glass.the car started out as being very solid all of the body and frame work has been proffessionally done.the car has weld racing wheels with mickey thompson tires with plenty of tread. I have never took the car to the strip but I am confident it would be a contender,I have enjoyed it it as a pro street bruiser. the cam shaft is around 600 lift and it really hits a nice lick,this car is not for someone thats a lets say..softy or knows nothing about performance street/drag cars.the exhaust is loud because the engine makes a lot of power,so if your neighbors are cry babys like mine are the cops will most likely come visit you.all of the underhood wiring is new and professionally done.the body is laser straight with plum crazy purple deltron base and clear,the paint is excellent with only a few tiny chips that hardly even worth mentioning, the white racing stripes really do pop and are nearly flawless.the bumpers are high dollar show chrome.the shark tooth grille has a few chips/ dings but its still pretty nice.all of the metal/fab work on this car is professionally done.there is no back seat,but there is plenty of room and one could be custom made easily.there is no roll cage,but I guess you could do that,I didnt want it it in the car,Im a street guy. all of the guages work the horn the lights with the exception of the reverse lights,they dont. the heater fan and wipers also work.the car drives straight it does not not pull,lean or vibrate.this is a real factory 340 car but the fender tag is long gone.I dont have to sell the car,but Id like to pay my house down some,its not a have to situation so please no low ball offers,my reserve leaves plenty of meat on the bone for even a dealer to flip it.Its a nice car.The car is listed for sale here on ebay,no where else. Im selling it as is. I require a 500.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auctions end time.full payment due within 7 days of auctions end. I require cash in person or a certified bank cashiers check,the car is not leaving until the money clears no exceptions.Im not trying to sound mean,its just that the world is full of corrupt people.I will store the car for 30 days as long as it is paid for and in full. the shipping and paying for shipping is your responsiblity.the title is clear in my name and in my hands.the car is show worthy/race worthy/street worthy.the hood and doors shut good,the trunk lid only comes up about half way and you have to use a prop due to the wheel well tubs..kinda bugs me a little,but Ive gotten use to it now. but the trunk is accessible that is where the fuel goes that is where the fuel cell is.look at the pictures ask questions if you have any.you will be hard pressed to find a nicer mopar that runs and looks like this one for the money.I have way way more than the start bid in it. here's your chance of owning it at a screaming deal.there is no way you could ever duplicate or build it for the price,the w2 heads alone are several thousands of dollars.my feedback is 100% Ive sold many items on here including cars over the years so bid with confidence thanks for looking.
