1970 Plymouth AAR CUDA / SPECIAL EDITION CHARGER

I'm planning on selling each of these cars individually or to one lucky Mopar nut, even though I'm already pricing low for each, I'll knock off even more and sell as a package for a quick sale. Only reason I'm selling these 2 cars is for a real estate deal, otherwise they'd be staying in my garage, but for now the toys need to go. With that said, let's start with what's first, 1970 AAR Cuda...
I'm reluctantly selling my dream car, my AAR Cuda. If you're reading this, you already know how special this car is and does not need an introduction. This was a one year only model built for SCCA Racing purposes. This is an all numbers matching AAR Cuda, in my opinion, the best color option, B5 Blue fire metallic, with the stock blackout hood treatment and strobe stripes, really makes it pop with the blue and black color scheme. Low ownership history and a strong driver. Many original docs including original buildsheet in tact, all vin stamps, body panels and trim tag original. Photos of car dating back to the 70's, as well as AAR Cuda club ownership papers, etc. Some very rare and interesting options on car. Lowest price numbers matching AAR Cuda in the country, serious buyers only, asking only $69,900 OBO, which is by far the lowest numbers matching, more original AAR in the country, hands down! Not to mention a few of the super rare options, Hamtrack has the color report being 1 of 7 ordered in this color/interior configuration, which is still in tact, will disclose to interested buyer. And now for the 1971...
The Dodge Charger SE (Special Edition) was the top of the line Charger in 1971. This particular Special Edition was Special Indeed! This very rare car was equipped with the Ultra Rare "U" Code, 440 Motor, 1 of only 662 producedaccording to sourcesand came with an abundance of Rare and Unique Options. 1971 was the last year of the high impact colors and this one is a rare factory issued FC7 Plum Crazy Purple car, recognized today as one of the most sought after cars of the era. Previous ownership was adamant of this being a 1 of 1 car based on all the rare options, and after much research I have never seen nor heard of another 1971 factory FC7 Plum Crazy Purple Charger Special Edition (SE) "U" code 440 / 4 barrel with Factory AC with a white canopy roof & white stripe. Also interesting note, the 440 4 barrel / auto was the highest grade motor option to get Factory Air in 1971, both the six pack and the Hemi was not an option. All vin tags are original and present including door, windshield, radiator support, and bulkhead. Fender tag and other vin tags were sent to and verified by Mopar guru David Wise and report will come with sale of car. Previous ownership also claims the bulge hood was dealer installed, nonetheless with the concealed headlamps and split grill it gives a menacing look up front!
Very rare and desirable piece of Mopar history. I bought this car years ago with the intent of restoring, but it's believed to be only 1 repaint and over the years more and more people have told me to keep it as is having only being repainted once back in the early 90's. Overall the paint has held up pretty well, some small paint blemishes and a couple small scratches in the paint, driver quality. With that said I have decided to keep the patina and drive as it is. This was the last year of the high horsepower cars, 1971 was it! Everything works and looks good including just overhauled the factory AC, went through all gauges and electrical including the headlight motors, replaced the exhaust with factory machine gun tips. Asking $34,900 OBO.
Serious buyers only please, or asking $95K OBO for both of these rare Mopar examples. The asking price for both cars is roughly what most people are asking for one numbers matching AAR! Bid or I should say offer with confidence, I've sold many high end vehicles from Porsche 911 Turbo's to GT40's and other muscle/exotic cars via ebay over the years, check out my feedback for more reference. Feel free to email or call to set up a time to view or for any questions or more pics. Thanks for your interest.
