STANDOUT LIME GREEN PAINT, BIG BLOCK 440, POWER STEERING, NICE INTERIOR, MOPAR!
1970 Plymouth Barracuda
This car has big block power and intimidating looks to go with it. When this 'Cuda shows up somewhere, people will notice. First, they will hear the sound of 440 cubic inches of awesome coming. Then they will see the matte black hood, and they will know for sure that this car means business.
Dodge and Plymouth knew how to build good looking cars. They also race what they build and the paint job on this car pays tribute to the Trans Am 'Cudas. As you approach the car, you can't miss the beautiful, reach out and grab you, lime green paint, but that is contrasted by the matte black of the hood with dual air scoops, and the unique strobe stripe down the side of the car. There is good lighting for prowling the streets at night with single headlights in the grill, and fog lights below the bumper. Chin spoilers up front and a trunk spoiler out back look great and work together to keep the car stable at speed. Also, out back are the 3 bar taillights many people will end up seeing, and exhaust that exits through cutouts just below the bumper. This car has a solid stance and great look with the 295/50R15s filling up the rear fenders wells nicely and with the 225/70R15s up front, all on rally wheels.
That lime green color statement outside, is matched in the interior with custom green panels sewn into black seats for a stunning, color coordinated, look. The black door panels have arm rests formed into them and are matched by the black carpets and headliner. The dash has four gauges in a row, with the tach placed near the middle for easy visibility. There are also three additional Sunpro gauges below the stereo to help keep track of critical functions. Just below them, there is a classic pistol grip shifter in the center console which is welcomed in any Mopar. Being a mid-sized pony car, the trunk has some room for luggage, and the back seats have more room than you might think. So, go ahead, load up the car for adventure and head out.
Everyone loves to open the hood and see a big block in a Mopar. They have a unique sound and an attitude about the way they make power. This one more than most. This car has been upgraded with a 440 block that fills its lungs through a Spectre air filter feeding a Holley 4 bbl carb, add in an Edelbrock Performer intake and you've got a recipe for some horsepower. It exhales through long tube headers leading back through free flow mufflers that are tucked neatly in place. The rear suspension consists of 6 leaf springs and shocks to get that 440 power to the ground effectively. The suspension up front comes in the form of, torsion bars, struts, and sway bars. Power steering completes the package and gives the driver the control they need to get this strong running car down the road in style.
Come on down and check out this super sweet, eye popping, big block car from 1970. Make some noise and have some fun with it. Then take it home.
