Conclusion

The purpose of the build was to create a one off unique street/strip vehicle. No other Plymouth

Duster or its sister Dodge Demon looks or acts like it. The car throws you into the seat off the

line, pulling like a freight train through the all gears. Yet, still manageable around town to cruise

and enjoy the scenery. The car was designed to be driven and enjoyed partly because it started

life off as a slant 6, automatic, bench seat base vehicle. Today, the vehicle is a good

representation of a Mopar Classic combining the best of modern technology and classic styling.

Why am I selling this car?

I have many memories with this vehicle and have enjoyed a decade of smiles, laughs, and

burning rubber. But I am looking for more excitement, particularly from road circuit courses. I

am in search of an Italian vehicle to road race and complete my Italian bike collection. The

history of my youth working with Ferraris has led me to pursue one.

Pricing

It is hard to price a vehicle modified in a way to enhance the performance and reliability yet

compete with a fully restored 1971 Plymouth Duster 340. On the other hand, it is one of the

most desirable years for Mopar with the sharktooth grill, curious yellow paint only offered in

1971, and favorable performance parts.

I would categorize this car as a quality driver that can still be shown at car shows.

I have priced this car at $25,000 - which all things considered should be in a sweet spot for

buyers based on what has been done and is included.
