AWESOME Plymouth Custom V8 Hot Rod Deluxe Coupe Classic COOL Excellent Trade ?
1950 Plymouth club coupe hot rod
EXPORT, NO PROBLEM...This is a COOL custom 1950 Plymouth Hot Rod Club Coupe in nice low original mile condition. Mild built SBC V8 engine and built 3 speed trans... 12 bolt rear with traction bars. It appears to be a former drag or race car based on the build and components and is now a fun little street car... a ton of time, money, and detail went into this little rod... you couldnt build it for double my price. Has rack and pinion steering... independent front suspension with disk brakes and a tilt column. It runs/drives great! Really good little rod... ready to cruise as is or great start to a show car, gasser, whatever...Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection. The car is currently at my family farm in PA... I'm trying to sell it from there. If it doesnt go in a week or 2 I'll ship to LA, do a couple touches and raise the price way up... this is a DEAL.
Body is pretty straight with no real rust or collision damage that I can see... there is a little surface rust and some filler here and there but no rot. Clean and straight underneath with just some surface rust in spots. Primer paint looks cool...I'd keep it as is. Will need tires for any extended driving.
Interior is pretty sparse in a period hotrod style. Has Roll bar and custom front seats... no rears... the interior was coated with an industrial coating at some point... there is no carpet or insulation but its not crazy noisy or rattly. Custom gauges work as do the lights, signals, and wipers... electronics work properly except gas gauge. It's fine as is... personally I'd insulate and maybe carpet it and do some basic door panels and call it done.
Mild built SBC V8 Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent!! Built 3 speed auto trans... 12 bolt Rear has great all around gearing. Suspension and brakes are good... Nice Driver.
Overall this is a nice little hot rod cruiser all around... cool as is or nice start to whatever you want. Awesome weekend cruiser, potential show car, or addition to any collection. I am a collector... this is a good one for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, classic rod at a great price.
