The Plymouth Savoy as a smaller car produced by Plymouth in various forms from 1954 to 1964. It was available in a variety of configurations with a wagon being introduced in 1962. Recently fully restored in Ionia Michigan by Marquette Classics this car looks beautiful. Original a west coast car the current owner has had it for 15 years and put a lot of ...work into it. In addition to the restoration the 413cid V8 was rebuilt 2k miles ago. The engine is mated to a smooth shifting 4-speed manual. Tons of performance parts have been installed including a 354 Posi headers 2.5in exhaust rear end banjo brace flow masters roadrunner rear brakes and Wilwood front disc brakes. There is a huge binder of more information on the rotisserie restoration and performance upgrades. The car also has power brakes power steering and a working heater. The engine starts up instantly without any coaxing and the car drives down the road with confidence. Because of the excellent restoration there is little point in talking about the condition but it is worth saying that the blue metallic paint is perfect as well as all of the chrome trim. American Racing wheels complement the look and have wider than stock tires. It is safe to say that this probably looks better now than it did when it left the factory!
