Factory 4 speed 383 4 bbl Plymouth Fury III - rare car with a clean body
1967 Plymouth Fury III
Up for auction, 1967 Plymouth Fury III 4 door factory equipped with a 383 4 barrel, 3.23 gearsanda 4 speed transmission! This car is from Washington and has a clean body. Underside has no rust that I can see, it was factory undercoated. There is minimal rust on the lower 1/4 panels, 1 dog leg, bottom of fender. Body hasa couple of dings and scrapes but overall is pretty nicefor a 50 year old car.
Exterior is dark red metallic, interior has red cloth/vinyl bench seats. It has Chrysler electronic ignition. Options include: AM radio with rear seat speakers, rear window defogger, heavy duty suspension / firm ride shocks, front and rear bumper guards, undercoating with hood insulator pad. The whitewall tires are 8.25 x 4 andshould be replaced because they're very weathered.
This car runs and drives good. Recent carb rebuild, new fuel pump, water pump, cap & rotor, spark plugs and wires. Originally it had manual steering and brakes but was converted to power steering sometime in the past. Car gets lots of attention and is definitely a conversation starter!
Please note thatthe odometer shows 16,216 right now. The odometer has probably rolled over but I have no way of knowing. I'm still driving and enjoying it so the odometer will change.
