I picked up this 73 Satellite a while back with the intention to turn it into a Road Runner clone, but haven't had as much time as I'd like and the HOA is on my ass to get it out of the driveway.
It runs, but it hasn't been driven in about a little while, and currently stalls when putting into drive.The blistering Phoenix summer has stopped me from being able to spend much time outside diagnosing it.
I had the brakes worked on before I parked it, replaced the water pump in the spring (had leak that ended up just being a hose), and rebuilt the carburetor in July. Needs the carb fuel mix adjusted by someone better than me at it.
Very little rust on the car. The passenger side rear quarter needs some work. There's some bubbling (and a small dent) in the driver side fender, and typical rust under the vinyl top. I was going to pull the top and clean it up, then have a new black or beige top put on but never got to it. The inside of the trunk has some surface rust but is solid - just needs cleaned up and painted.
Interior is in really good shape. Just the occasional trim buttons missing and a small crack in dash. Headliner in great shape. No rips in seats.
