The codes on the motor F 440 HP2 build date on block is 10-29-69, left exhaust manifold 2951865, right exhaust manifold 2899879 and intake 2946275. Story goes from previous owner engine and transmission were pulled from a wrecked car in 1981 before it was junked.
While the car was painted back to its original color Rallye green the motor was resealed and freshly painted. A new clutch and pressure plate were also installed at that time. All new hoses, spark plugs and wires were also done. The power steering gear box was sent out to be rebuilt.
The car was very solid and did not require much bodywork to finish. Thebody still retains all its original sheet metal. After the car was painted the underside was cleaned and undercoated. Then all new brake lines, e-brake cables, fuel lines, shocks and exhaust were installed. New tires were mounted on factory 15" steel wheels. The interior is in nice shape with the seatupholstery and carpet replaced recently. All the factory gauges work in the dash including the factory tach. Both front and rear bumpers are new AMD. All the glass is nice and all windows work as they should. The headlights, high beams, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals and horn work as well.
Therear end is a factory 8 3/4 sure grip with 3:23 gears.
This is a nice car, it is not perfect but it is a car you can take out and enjoy. Please serious bidders only, I will not end the auction early. I am selling at NO RESERVE so high bidder wins. All questions will be answered and if you would like to call I am Scott 702-339-0572.
I do not have a build sheet or a fender tag, this is an original Roadrunner. The engine and transmission are not original to the car.
