Up for auction is this 1940 Plymouth Road King Coupe following a "frame off" restoration. This "body original" piece of history sports less than 1,200 miles. It's "get-up-and-go" is owed to a completely rebuilt 1968 Cadillac 472 V8, big growl" comp cam, 50 turbo auto transmission and a 12 bolt posi rear end. It sports a fat man extension, ack and pinion steering, ower disc. brakes, n amazing stance with big tires and like new SVT wheels. All of its original exterior and interior chrome is in place along with many additional pieces. The interior was completely redone in 2014 with a new headliner, eat upholstery and vinyl. A Lokar shifter was placed along with the 1940's chrome microphone shift knob. Prior to the interior completion, he cabin was painted with lizard skin to maintain ambient temperature. In my possession is additional sound deadening mat and new carpet. Too much to mention truly. This car is top notch and even though it looks original itis almost 100% brand new.
