68 Plymouth Barracuda Restored
1968 Plymouth Barracuda
Hello and thanks for clicking on my '68 Barracuda!
This is part of my Collection that i am downsizing, selling a few classic cars but this one was restored in the last few years and there is probably 70k$ in it with the cost of the car, unfortunately i do not have receipts.
A great looking car !
This Barracuda was rust free condition before it was restored. It was then taken down to bare metal for a repaint in Chrysler Deep Ocean Blue and it looks fantastic on the car! A Mopar 360 V-8engine was secured and sent out toa Mopar expert for a build which included a bore to .30 over, I beam rods, KB 10.7 to 1 pistons, Edelbrock aluminum heads, General Kinetic A6H-264-S camand a SCAT forged 4340 crank. She breathes through an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, headers with Flowmaster mufflers and out through 3" polished stainless exhaust extensions. All that power is directed through a console shifted, rebuilt904 automatic transmision with shift kitand cooled by a Griffin 4 core aluminum radiator with thermostatically controlled electric fan.
She also features power steering and power disc brakes, Cragar mags with radial tires, Grant GT wood steering wheel, bucket seats & consoleand modern sound system with amp & speaker box in the trunk.
She starts, runs &drives without any funny noises, smoke or other issues. The carstops straight without fading, pulsingor pulling, completely drama-free.She handles well too, with the oversized wheel & tire package: Firestone Indy 500 Firehawk tires with P275/60R15/1070S on the rear and P215/65R15/95S on the front.
Thisis an originalAC car. The guts of the system were removed to save weight and complexity. The ductwork & vents remain for anyone that would like to reinstall the system. The interior was redone well but lacks a few details that are easily sourced.
Of course, detailsare notneeded to have fun driving this greatcar, and that is what it was built for. This Barracuda was built to befast, loud show, and tons of fun, and it is. Sit down and hang on, because this fish will fly!
A few minor things I have noted since the car has been in my care:there is 1 crack in the paint on the hood only ..
Much of the trim on the car is original and still looks good!
I see no reason why the new owner couldn't fly-in and drive home in this sweet Barracuda!
DO NOT miss this opportunity to own a fun piece of Mopar history at a great price!
Contact me with any questions, photo request.
Though this is a restored car, it is selling AS IS WHERE IS with no warranties what so over. Please do NOT bid unless you are intending to buy or if you do NOT have the funds, i have an excellent feedback and bought and sold many cars in the last few years as you can see. I will not tolerate biding without buying the car and will report E bay as well as legal actions. Thanks Again for looking and Good Luck!
