Description:

1974 Plymouth Road Runner

Thank you for viewing my vehicle. It's with a heavy heart that I must sell my Road Runner. It's one of the first classics I've ever owned and never thought I'd sell. I poured more than many people make in one year into this vehicle. I spared no expense, and anything that was needed was done. I'm one of those guys that drops off his car and says "do it" without concern for the cost.

This vehicle is in amazing condition, and it should be because I've spent over $50K on this Road Runner. I'll consider trades as partial payment, but I don't want any projects. I prefer a late model daily driver. I have a lot of pictures that I can email or text. It was taking forever to upload on wireless wifi, so I just put up a few. I apologize in advance.

Low Miles. 4-Speed Hurst Pistol Grip. Factory A/C. No Rust - Sold Car. It's 1 of only 280 that were manufactured in 1974.Billet Aluminum Wheels cost $386 a piece.Original wheels can be included for an added price. All add-ons such as the stereo system can be removed for the pure collector. MP3, IPhone, Bluetooth, and Satellite Radio.

If you're the winning bidder please follow the payment instructions to the "t" because if you do not pay the total balance within the specified timeframe I will not refund your deposit. You will receive negative feedback, and I will relist the vehicle. Please donot be rude, inaccessible, pushy, or use aggressive threatening language. If you doconduct yourself in that manner,I'm informing you now that I reserve the right to sell my property to the person(s) of my choice. Finally, I reserve the right to end the auction early...

Additional Notes For Consideration

  • Check the BJ 2014 auction records for a74 Road Runner painted lemon twist. It sold for $50,850.00. It had 60k on the OD, but it was not a 4-speed, not the original color, and it did not have the original engine.Even the bumpers were painted, but the vehicle was in #1 Concours condition.
  • This is not a #1 Concours vehicle, but it is a solid #2 graded in Excellent condition.
  • The Hagerty Valauation Tool puts this vehicle as a base model at $43.5K, but it receives a 15% bump for being a 4-Speed with the Hurst Pistol Grip, and another 10% bump for having the high performance engine for that year.
  • Only 280 of these were produced with the 4-speed 440 or 400 in 1974.Yes, they made a 440 that year (if you doubt that statement then refer to the 2014 Hemmings article titled One Rare Bird).
  • I have over $50k invested in this car, but we know how that goes...Originally, my price was $42,500.00, but I want an easy transaction, so the reserve is set at avery reasonable rate.
  • You'll have no problem insuring this vehicle for a value over $50k.
