1965 Plymouth Satellite

I am selling an original 426 wedge 1965 Plymouth Satellite with an automatic transmission. It should be an easy project. It is in very good condition and most of the trim has been polished professionally. The paint has some dings and scratches but could be touched up for a driver quality. Someone had pushed the car or pulled it with the grill valance. I bent it back (see picture). The underneath side of the car has been painted black but the floorboards look original and in good shape. They still have the undercoating on them. I called and talked to the original owner and he still has the original window sticker. He bought it new in Kansas City. The fender tag number matches the radiator support. The story is the original owner installed a hemi in it at some time. Then he took it apart to restore it. He painted it and then needed money for his family so he sold it to a Mopar collector who started gathering parts and having parts polished. The second owner also got the original engine and rearend with the car. Then the second owner passed away and the man that I bought it from had bought it from the collector's widow but someone else had supposedly ripped off a bunch of parts from the widow before he got it. Some of the parts including the rearend were from this car. It looks like most of the trim is there but there are some pieces missing. I left the polished pieces in the packages. I tried to lay it out to show what is there. The engine is stamped A426 with a build date of 7/23/64 but I do not know if it is the original. It has the original air breather but the chrome is in poor condition. It does turn over. The rear glass is missing but the rest of the glass is there. The rear side glass tracks are there but the door window tracks are missing. I found a receipt for restoring the two vent windows and the price was $1050.00 so I am sure he spent a bunch for polishing all the trim. I installed a rearend out of a 1965 Belvedere that I parted out years ago. I also installed the bumpers from that car. I removed the hemi K-member and installed an original one. The bumpers need to be rechromed/replaced but at least the brackets are there. It looks like he installed a new gas tank, gas line, master cylinder, and all the brake lines except the rearend lines. The grill has been restored and still in the wrapper. The interior is all new including seat covers, headliner, dash pad, sunvisors, package tray, glove box, radio speaker, and carpet. The carpet does have some stained spots or faded spots. The main items that I know are missing are the console, shift knob, gas pedal, steering wheel, door panels, glove box door, hood ornament, parking lights, reverse lights, hood latches, door latches, door handles, interior window/door handles, armrests, rear glass and some trim pieces. I am sure there are some smaller items but what you see is what I have and what you get. This car will be worth a lot of money when restored. Please do not bid if you have 0 feedback without contacting me first. I will prefer a bank wire transfer or else cash.
