1932 Plymouth 3 Window Coupe "ALL STEEL"
1932 Plymouth Other
I have for sale a rare 1932 Plymouth 3 window coupe (All STEEL INCLUDING FENDERS AND BOARDS) that I purchasedfrom an Estate and was built 40 years ago and stored for the last 25
years. One of the great things about it is that the car is all Mopar with a
great running 318 small V8- Torq Flight transmission and a Mopar rear-
end. The front end was treated with an independent Mustang II rack
and pinion with disc brakes. The brakes stop fine although will need some attention as the peddle is a little hard. It has the AM FM radio and working CB Radio,Stewart Warner gauges and speedometer, working power antennaThe Gentleman that passed away was in his 80's and I was told this car wasbabied and treatedlike one of his children. I have posted a couple pictures of the car as it was when I bought it sitting in the building. If you notice before I replaced the tires it had the old G78's on it that they stopped making in the late 70's. After debating for quite sometime about washing the 25 year old dirt off of it I couldn't take it and had to detail it back as it was when parked. Things I have done to it other than detailing it back up is as follows.
Pulled the plugs penetrated the cylinders let them soak for several days. Changed the fluids, drained the gas tank, blew the lines out and the car fired right up and drove it straight to an annual local car show where it was chosen for the feature car. This car is a nostalgic Street Rod that looks awesome and everyone loves it just as it is. The paint shines great for its age although keep in mind how long it has been done so it has its nicks and scratches. Glass in this car is tinted and super nice and even the windshield still cranks open. The chrome also shines very nice but in some places has a little bit of tarnish, mainly the sides of the grill. The bumpers look great with no fading, the rubber pads on the running boards have some cracking from age but an easy and inexpensive fix. The interior with a working power seat looks almost like it is new including the chrome around the windows and paint on the dash The car is very solid only showing after all these years a couple places down low in back of the doors where it may have had a little patch. Overall this is a great three window coupe to keep injoying as it is or if you choose bring it to the next level some day. Again this is the real deal all steel (NEVER CUT UP!!) Bid to Win this little rare coupe is for sale because I have bought a couple other old cars and do not have room for all of them.
