1970 Plymouth Road Runner
1970 440-6 pac road runner, this car is in the august issue of Mopar Collectors guide. It is an all numbers matching car, built in Los Angeles and sold new in Southern California, and has never left the area. The way the story goes, the car was built for the Los Angeles auto show and was the display car for Plymouth. After the show season, the car went into Chryslers warehouse and was finally auctioned off to Huntington Beach Chrysler Plymouth, who sold the car new in June of 1971. The car is loaded for a road runner, lime light with a white interior and a white vinyl top, bucket seats and a console with an automatic transmission, power steering and power disc brakes, air grabber hood, dust trail, lower rocker molding, and upper belt molding, tic toch tach. All the sheet metal is original as is all the glass, engine and transmission are all matching along with the body numbers, VIN tag and fender tag.The car is a 22" radiator car with an open 3:23 rear end. It does have sure grip with 3:91s at this time. At this time time has just turned 21koriginal miles.Great car, great history and never any rust.
