This is an original 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe. This is a ONE OWNER California car.

The engine starts right up and sounds very healthy/strong. The idle is smooth and there are no leaks, smoke, overheating or strange noises. After we found this car we did a service on it to bring it back to "turn key status".

• removed and resealed radiator
• Drained out fuel and removed fuel tank and had it professionally cleaned and resealed
• New spark plugs
• New head gasket
• New fuel filter
• Oil change
• Rebuilt carburetor

The brakes are okay but will need to be gone through.The clutch feels good and shifting though the gears and is effortless. The car is a pleasure to drive and catches a lot of attention.

Cosmetically this car is a gem, it looks amazing after 66 years! The patina on this car is stunning!!!! The original factory coat of lacquer paint presents itself beautifully. Needless to say the car is really a site to see......Impressive! The color takes this car to another level of beauty, gorgeous!!!!!! No accidents, rust or repair. There are of course small dings, chips, fading, and a series of small dents on right rear quarter panel (see pics) etc. The car is 100% complete with all the emblems, trim and ornaments present. This is the perfect car to make pristine, it has a tremendous amount of potential as a base for that dream muscle-car...or it has a lot of history and appeal to be enjoyed as-is, and make a perfect addition to anyone's collection.

The interior is also in amazing and original, it is in untouched condition. When we received the car it had 4 layers of various seat coverings on the front and rear seats, when these covers were removed we found the original seat upholstery to be in unbelievably great condition! Never have we seen anything like this from a car from this era or much newer before.

• Nice gauges (fuel gauge is currently in-operative)
• All gauges and radio illuminate beautifully at night
• The radio lights up but does not operate
• The only item that appears to be missing is the clock

• All vin plates and numbers are matching
