WE HAVE HERE A 1987 PEUGEOT 505STX V-6, 5 SPEED MANUAL WITH 81,000 ORIGINAL MILES, THIS MODEL IS RARE MADE ONLY THREE YEARS, MANUALS EVEN RARER. I SUPPOSE MOST HAVE BEEN CRUSHED BY NOW. CAR WAS PURCHASED FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO BOUGHT AFTER SEEING IT IN THE LOS ANGELES AUTO SHOW, SOLD IT TO ME WHEN HE MOVED TO FLORIDA. HAD A MAN THAT WORKED IN THE PEUGEOT DEALERSHIP MAINTAIN IT, I’M NOT THE BEST WITH MECHANICS. I DROVE IT FOR YEARS THEN STORED IT, STARTED TWO TO THREE TIMES A YEAR WITH HOPES OF ONE DAY RESTORING IT. WENT TO START IT LAST WEEK WITH SOME NEW GAS, ENGINE SPUN EASILY AND STARTED RIGHT UP! SURGES A LITTLE, MAY NEED FUEL FILTER OR IDLE VALVE CLEANED NOTHING MAJOR, JUST DECIDED TO SELL IT NOW RATHER THAN START ANOTHER PROJECT. Items that need work: Car need complete paint job, small dents(see pictures) Sunroof needs cable fix, motor works AC needs Freon and upper hose replaced Detonation sensors toast (see included parts) Speedometer cable wobbles, common problem Driver’s seat has worn spot and tear (see picture) Shift knob missing ( see included parts) Slave cylinder leaks (see included parts) Both side view mirror rubber gaiters disintegrated (see pictures Roof light pod shorted out burned spot near sun visor (see pictures) Emergency brake doesn’t work fully, may need cable adjustment Aftermarket car alarm not working, had it deactivated, remote doesn’t work General tlc, cleaning, exercising brake pistons changing fluids that sort of thing Stripped lug nut Parts that go with car: New Parts: Slave and master cylinder Gas filter Factory shift knob Grommets to install radio antenna to fender Two new detonation sensors New fuel pressure regulator Four new tires Oil pan and transmission plug sockets New starter(installed) Used Parts Official Peugeot engine manual, quick reference parts list, various Peugeot informatio, wiring manual, clutch and transmission manual, interchange info, on dvd. Two replacement sun visors. Various spare parts, clutch pedal and rod, gearbox rod, fuel rail, radiator, grille, trunk weather seal, door glass rubber guides, seat cushions and blue leather pieces(took them to dye and replace my worn seat pieces), fan shroud, window regulators, overflow bottle, washer reservoir, switches and odds and ends.
