Offered is a 1947 Packard model 2103 Super Clipper 4 door sedan. 356 Straight 8, 3 speed with Overdrive, this is an older well kept restoration just taken out of very long term storage. Sold new at Mountain Motors, famous Packard dealer in Denver and was always in Colorado and Wyoming. Driven to the 1999 100th anniversary Packard Meet in Warren, OH. Beautifully repainted in burgundy Sikkens lacquer, upholstered in correct patterns with solid gray broadcloth, nice carpeting. Most of the plating redone and excellent. A couple blemishes in the paint and repairable small moth holes in headliner. I have not fully awakened this car, it is now running very strong with good brakes and shifts through the gears well. I recommend a full servicing before driving out on the highway due to the length of storage and lack of use since awakening the car. It has a dent in the right rear fender and the headlight switch was removed and missing when I bought the car. I have a light switch and the correct chrome headlight rings in the trunk. This was equipped with Electromatic clutch and most if not all the parts are with the car but not installed. Priced to sell to someone who can do the small item tinkering and additional cleanup needed to make this a fully roadworthy car.
