1953 PACKARD PATRICIAN 400! Selling for a friend who's beloved Uncle has passed away. 327 Straight 8,Automatic. Newer Carburetor and exhaust system. Vehicle has sat in garage for close to 10 years and will need some brake work(Probably a new Master cylinder) Just Installed: New heater hoses/Anti-freeze/6 Volt battery and Spark plugs. Packard ran with fresh gas and tune-up but the distributor advance seems to be stuck at the moment so it only wants to fire when I move distributor. Hoping to rectify that this week. I have not driven the car other than in the shop slowly because of the brake issue. Being a 66 year old car it has a few leaks/some rust holes in the inner rockers and I am sure other issues from sitting. Prior to sitting, this car was constantly at car shows/Parades/etc. The paint job is older with imperfections, but still shines and presents well. Most of the chrome is still very presentable and a lot of the exterior trim pieces look like they have been replaced or rechromed. The interior was redone at some point and is the highlight of the car! SEE PICS! Odometer is showing 77962 miles (no way of verifying if correct) Tires are holding air for a year now so that is a good thing! If you are looking for an antique car that has a lot of the expensive and time consuming work already done, this beautiful Packard might be the perfect choice!
