1937 Packard Twelve 1508 Divider-Window Limousine
Impressive, well-proportioned car with 144-inch wheelbase. Huge rear seating area with jump seats.
The car runs well, drives, and stops. Windshield and back glass is out of the car so we haven't driven it above 20 mph.
Has 38 Twelve engine withStromberg EE-3 Carburetor, Air Cleaner, and Autolite Distributor.
Body is excellent. Panels are very straight with good alignment, wood is good and no rust.
Car is 90-95% complete.
The following are included with the car:
-Banjo steering wheel with horn button correct for 37 Twelve
-luggage rack with brackets
-Complete set of instruments (except radio head) for the instrument cluster
-Correct 30-gallon gas tank
-boosters for the clutch and brake
-Cormorant hood ornament
-Complete set of door handles and escutcheons
-Complete set of window surrounds (some needing repair)
-Has front windshield chrome channel--hard to find
-Has rear windshield chrome molding
The engine runs well with good compression and 15 lbs. oil pressure when warm idling.
The car was painted many years ago and the paint is failing in some areas.
The car had an amateur upholstery job that was never finished properly. May be possible to improve what is there.
