1932 Packard Model 1001 Club Sedan
Very straight original car. It has a 1933 chassis, hood, grill and fenders with a 1932 twinsix Club Sedan Body (More wood detail in cab). Was rebodied a long time ago..The body is super straight and the doors just 'click' shut with a gentle push. The wood is great!The front fenders have some minor dings and the back passenger side fender is the home to the only 'very slight' rust through. The car needs a new fabric top but the inside upholstery is in excellent condition and has been redone in a blush (very light burgundy color) that is like the original wool. All the chrome, except the grill has been redone. The grill is super straight and in great original shape but needs to be re-chromed. The motor starts right up and runs Fantastic with no smoke.Transmission shifts easily and the steering is super tight. Brakes are good but may need some minor adjustment. left a little. The temp., Amp, oil pressure gauges all work. The speedometer did work but the needle arm just came off recently and needs to be reconnected. The gas gauge is not working and neither is the clock.I have the original smaller metal black trunk and the large truck. I have put the smaller trunk back on the car and can provide additional photos if requested. Also just had it tuned up.
This is a great survivor car that drives well and has nice patina. Drive as is or restore, your choice.
Vehicle loan has to be paid off prior to releasing the pink slip. I also have a heavy duty car trailer that I can sell with the car for an additional $3,000. I also have a high speed rearend that I purchased to put on this car that I will sell for additional $500.
