1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport
Hard to find, still running well Pontiac Lemans Sport. 2-door. I purchased this car in 2004 and have had little time to do much to her. Life got in the way. I had the radiator rebuilt, put on new tires and installed a custom exhaust. She runs great. I have taken her on long drives many times over the years. She is missing her drivers seat belt. I was told when I purchased her that she was a barn find and the owner I purchased her from only had her long enough to clean her up and repaint her. I was also told her mileage is correct. I cannot confirm either of these. With that, you can tell over the years she was not primed and her paint is chipping and her rust is showing. Coming from Pontiac MI, she has rust! Her numbers show she is all original. I pulled the information from PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) and have it available. 350, 288L with a 2 barrel carb, automatic, power steering, drum brakes all around. Ivory vinyl interior with buckets seats. Driver seat is torn. Carpet and the rest of the seats are in good shape. Her dash is weathered and torn. I have a plastic cover on it. Sundance orange now and originally. Shifter on the floor. There is no stereo and the A/C does not work and hasn't since I owned her. Engine ID matches per the information given from PHS. Her back brakes lock up. Not sure why. I've had her looked at and no one has been able to tell me how to fix them. Its time she goes to a home that will give her the TLC she deserves.
