Up for sale we have a 1936 - 500K replica Marlene built by Classic Roadsters Ltd. in Fargo, North Dakota. This Mercedes tribute is finished in a nice and shiny navy blue gelcoat with a matching soft top and tan interior. Plenty of eye catching chrome accents and prewar features all around such as the ornamental supercharged exhaust pipes on both sides of the hood, elegant chrome body molding, prewar style grill with hood ornament, functional antique headlights and spotlights, vintage horn trumpets, chrome dual exhaust pipes and much more to be mentioned. This Marlene is fitted with four brand new wide whitewall tires, an expensive feature that helps give the car an authentic prewar look. The interior offers a nice wooden dash with functional backlit VDO chrome gauges, functional roll up windows and a stereo system, features tan seats with matching door panels and clean blue carpeting found throughout, the spacious rear trunk compartment is also carpeted, overall a very nice and clean interior that's been well taken care of. This 500K replica is powered by a Ford V8 302 5.0L engine mated to an automatic transmission, very nice and clean engine compartment, thick fiberglass body, so no rust, all in good working order, the car runs, drives, and brakes as it should, a very nice weekend toy, not really to be considered a daily driver, it is a kit car. The soft top is fully removable and it comes with a nice matching boot to put over it when it's down, not only does this help protect the top but it also gives the car a nicer, cleaner look. This Marlene only has 9,340 miles since completed, it's in beautiful condition but definitely not new or perfect, very minor imperfections can be found all around.
