Here's a nice little 1953 Hudson Super Jet that is a great Sunday cruiser and entry level auto hobbyist car. You're almost guaranteed you'll be the only one at the local car show with one of these. Only Produced for two years, this was Hudson's answer to the Nash Rambler. Considered a compact car, it was fitted with the 202 Cu. In. Jet series motor, an inline flathead 6, that powered many of their larger cars. To make driving pleasurable, this one has the Turbomatic automatic transmission.Whether you're thinking you want a unique entry level priced weekend cruiser, or even running day to day in style, all eyes will be on you as you zip along returning a "thumbs up" to fellow motorists.The four door sedan gives you more space to carry passengers or extras that won't fit in the trunk.These 50's classics have returned to an affordable price range. They are fun to drive, economical, and easy to work on if needed. The original radio ( ready to install) goes with the car but the former owner was planning an upgrade to modern technology.the 4 wheel drum brakes have had the wheel cylinders rebuilt and new shoes installed in the front after installing a new master cylinder. You can see from the video it runs quiet with no oil leaks or consumption issues.More fun than a barrel of monkeys, and cheaper to boot!As with all classic 70 year old cars, the owner can't provide a warranty.
