Description:

1969 Chevrolet Camaro

No reserve 10 day auction ends Sunday night. Please read the whole ad. I have a clear title in my name. Real 1969 SS/RS Camaro. Pulled out of a garage it was in for over 20 years. Does not run to my knowledge. NOT the correct motor. Don't know about the transmission and I don't have any keys. According to the build plate it is Hugger Orange with a black vinyl top and black custom (comfort weave) interior. It was built in the second week of January and has the X11 trim group. Other options noted are a console mount 8 track tape deck, factory air and the N66 SS wheels. One center cap is missing. Trim rings aren't great. The car comes with 4 new B.F. Goodrich radial T/As dated 2023 (about $700 retail). I had to mount 2 of them on the front to move the car. The other 2 are still unmounted. It has a 12 bolt rear, multi leaf springs, power front disc brakes, console gauges, clock and tach in the dash, factory air (though some fiberglass work has been done on the box under the hood, see pic). I'm gonna be straight up...this body is ROUGH.I've personally never seen a roof like this. EVERY SINGLE body panel has either/and rust, bondo and dents. The drip rails are solid. The rockers appear to be straight (pics of both sides shown). I pulled the carpet up on the rear floor area. The passenger side rear floor isn't too bad. The drivers side rear floor has pin holes showing. Haven't pulled the front carpet. I removed the rear seat to undo the bolts that hold the trunk lock (missing keys). Undid the 3 bolts and the lid popped up about an inch and caught on something. Still don't have it open. While doing this, I noticed a repro trunk floor sitting in the trunk. Can't see under it, so I don't know what else is in there or what shape it's in. This car has been sitting for a long time, so there's a lot to do and it's dirty but...it is a true SS/RS 350. Steering wheel is cracked, extra screws in the dash, around switches, driver door panel cracked, grille broken. I've got some but not all of the emblems. I've watched some aMAYsing panel replacement videos and it could be saved that way or...get a little old lady 6 cyl or...dynacorn body. Depends how you want to do it. There is an extra ok flat hood and old calipers and starters and stuff in some milk crates that go with it. If you want to see it before bidding or send someone to look, no problem. I'm in Savannah. Feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking.

Added pics of the subframe area both sides and the rear roof cross brace. There are a couple of holes there as shown.
