I acquired this 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible from the 3rd owner who purchased it from his brother, the 2nd owner, a couple of years ago. The 2nd owner had the car over 35 years. He had it repainted in 1989-1990. The paint and body work on the car is from that repaint. It is an exceptionally solid and original metal car. The top was replaced when it was repainted and the engine was rebuilt. I have lots of documentation, including photos, of the mechanical and body restoration from 1989-1991. According the the 3rd owner, his brother, the 2nd owner, hardly ever drove the car once it was done. It mostly sat in the garage under cover. The first owner was the neighbor of the 2nd owner and he only drove the car on the nicest of days. This car has been an adult owned pleasure car since new and always garaged when not in use. The paint, body and bright work are all in very good to excellent condition. There's a few small bubbles down low in the quarters ahead of the wheels but that's about it. A weak magnet will stick everywhere on this car. The original 350 layed down on the 2nd owner a few years after he bought. He's the one that located the "correct" WZ code 1968 Pontiac 400. I have the records and receipts from the professional rebuild, including dyno sheets. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes (front disc rear drum) and a power top, which works excellent.
