This is a running car with the original 4.2 liter, 6-cylinder engine, 258 cui.

It has a three-speed automatic transmission.

This iconic, well preserved car has got 100000 miles on the odometer.

It has a tilt steering column, power brakes, power steering and AC.

The lights, blinkers, wipers, and radio work.

It has many options, such as; AC, aluminum wheels, remote side mirror, roof rack, AM/FM radio, tilt steering column. It also codes for a white vinyl top. (probably removed when the car was repainted)

The car was last smogged and used in daily traffic two years ago.

This funky classic has spent its whole life in the dry Southern California climate, and still has the original license plates.

It was repainted a long time ago, in the original Golden Jade color.

The body is straight, and I can find no rust on the car.

Note the cut marks on the hood. (A previous owner broke the hood latch cable and made these cuts)

All the glass is good.

The windows roll up and down, the doors close good.

The interior is usable, but some of the plastic is dry and cracked.

It is mostly complete but is missing minor things such as the plastic trim around the driver side, rear window, and the driver side door panel insert and pocket.

Inside door handles have broken off the lever on both sides. The handles are with the car.

It has a new catalytic converter and muffler, it also has a new starter and a new carburetor. (the original carburetor is included)

All four tires have good thread.

After I bought it, I cleaned it up, lubricated everything and have since only driven it around the neighborhood a handful of times.

It does not smoke, it does not make any weird noise, it does not leak any fluids.

The Pacer shifts, steers and stops.

However, this is to be considered a running project and should be serviced / checked before hitting the highways.

The car has a California title in my name and a current (non-op) registration.

I will work with dealers, brokers and buyers from out of state and out of the country.

I can store the car for a while if needed, I can also help organize transportation of the car to shipping companies in California.
