I am pleased to offer this incredible 1955 Mercedes 300 SLS recreation. This car was lovingly built by an engineer who used to live in Stuttgart, Germany and who worked for Mercedes in the 1980’s. He did a fantastic job on a recreation that you seldom see in the wild. VIN # is 62211. Features: – Brand new crate engine – small block 350 Chevy motor with single 4 barrel carb making approx. 360+ HP (dyno’ed) – Motor has 1,500 test drive miles and the body has approx. 2,000 miles – Custom zinc chromated steel square tube frame – never rust – 3 speed automatic trans. – Fiberglass body – Aluminum door handles exactly as the original – New gas tank – fill access thru the trunk – as original – Script on trunk is exactly as original – Custom muffled side exit exhaust as original – check your state or county for emission requirements – Front disc brakes – new – Rear drum brakes – Vintage 15 inch wire wheels – Tires are new – Custom taillights based on the original – LED lighting all around – Hardtop with lexan included but must be finished i.e. painted, upholstered, fitted with hardware – New gorgeous red custom interior with leather seating and vinyl dash and door panels – New black carpeting

I sold this car to the owner when it was a project. He lovingly recreated a very rare Mercedes and frankly, I never thought that he would sell it.
